TESTIMONIALS
My two boys, ages 7 and 8, have been taking guitar lessons for a couple of months with Shane. Their young ages make it very challenging to even be
able to hold down the strings correctly, yet alone play chords. Shane has risen to the challenge, however, and has taught the boys a lot in the short
amount of time that he's been teaching them. He has a great way with them, and is very patient when their attention spans get short. My husband and I
are very pleased with the education Shane is providing to them.

My son KJ is 10 years old and this year he has developed a strong interest in music. He begged his father and I for an electric guitar and we finally
got him one Christmas 2007. In Feb 2008 KJ started taking lessons with Shane and within one month he was actually playing very well. I was
completely amazed ! Shane has all of the traits of a great guitar teacher, he is patient, organized and has well designed lessons that has kept my
10 year old with ADD interested and exited in music. I believe that his new found talent has helped him with his concentration in school. KJ
can't wait until his next lessons, he always come home and "performs" before his family. KJ really looks up to Shane as a great guitar "rocker".
Thanks for the good work,

In my 30s and having listening to guitar based music my whole life, I finally decided to try to learn to play some. Shane was the perfect person to
get me started. After just a few lessons I feel like I have a good grasp of the basics and I definitely look forward to my lesson every week.

Shane Prentice at East Cobb Guitar has made learning my instrument great fun. We begin each lesson with Shane electronically tuning my guitar
(even replacing strings) and discussing music theory and questions from the last lesson. Shane then develops exercises to correct problems and makes
helpful observations. He is very encouraging and I always leave in good spirits. We discuss music theory and go over goals. Shane's studio
is comfortable, private and well equipped with great electronics. Shane can teach students at all levels but I dont expect to ever come close to
his professional level in the rock genre. I am proud to recommend East Cobb Guitar to all of you!

Dear Parent,
I want to let you know how satisfied I am with the high quality of the lessons that my 9-year-old son is receiving from Shane. I have no problem
believing that Shane has a degree from the Atlanta Institute of Music because of his command and general knowledge of his field. I wanted my son’s
instructor to be an experienced professional musician himself, with the patience to teach others, even young children. Shane is such a person. I
highly recommend Shane for anyone who seriously wants to learn guitar. Feel free to call me, if you need to ask a question.

My 8 year old daughter has said for a couple of years now that she wanted an electric guitar. I finally bought her one for Christmas 2007. I
bought one at Sears. My daughter started taking lessons from Shane. Shane highly recommended I purchase a real guitar. The guitar from
Sears would not tune up. The first couple of lessons my daughter was not picking up what Shane was trying to teach her. After 3 or 4 lessons
I purchased a black and white Fender Squire Mini guitar. The mini guitar fit my daughter's little hands so much better. Once she received the
Fender Mini it made all the difference. She can actually hear what the cords are suppose to sound like. Shane is a great guitar teacher. My
daughter has ADD and goes a mile a minute. Shane is patient and has well designed lessons that keep my daughter's attention focused for a full hour. My
daughter is so proud of herself. Her confidence continues to grow with the guitar. I highly recommend Shane for anyone, younger or older, who
seriously wants to learn guitar.
